Любимый глагол to be - English.lang

Fast Tongue Game - English.lang

  • каждой команде дается 3 минуты на ознакомление со скороговорками;
  • затем каждая команда за 1 минуту должна прочитать как можно больше скороговорок на английском языке (без ошибок);

1. Can you can a can as a canner can can a can?
2. Stupid superstition!
3. Seventy seven benevolent elephants harder than it seems.
4. Six sleek swans swam swiftly southwards.
5. Why do you cry, Willy?
Why do you cry?
Why, Willy?
Why, Willy?
Why, Willy? Why?
6. She sells sea-shells on the sea-shore.
7. Unique New York, unique New York, unique New York, ...
8. A black cat sat on a mat and ate a fat rat.
9. Very well, very well, very well …

- English.lang

English.lang

About a boy

I knew a boy.
He wasn’t good.
He always broke
All things he could.
He sold all presents
That he got.
He threw all books
His father bought,
Forgot all things
His teachers taught.
He wasn’t smart at all
They thought.

But when he grew
He understood
The way he chose
Was not so good.

He felt so bad.
He hardly slept.
He went to school
That he once left.

Soon he became
A smarter man
His journey into
Books began.

He took a book,
He made a note
And in a year
His book he wrote.

It was the best
Thing
        He had had.
That’s
       what he told
That’s
       what he said.
